Through our partnerships with organizations and non-profits, we provide opportunities to meet the real needs of our community, nation, and world as we serve together. You can be part of this work by helping us share the good news and love of Jesus with those who need it most.
The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering (AAEO) is the primary way Southern Baptists fund missions in North America. One hundred percent of gifts given to AAEO go to the field to support more than 2,400 missionary families serving across the United States and Canada. Gifts to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering are used to train and resource missionaries in church planting and compassion ministries. Gifts are also used to create evangelism resources. New churches are being planted, hurts are being healed and lives are being transformed by the gospel because you give.
When you give towards Lottie Moon, you’re joining millions of other Christians who have committed to advancing God’s Kingdom. The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering is an annual offering collected by Southern Baptists to support international missions. The offering was officially named in 1918 by Woman’s Missionary Union in honor of the missionary to China who urged churches to start it and give sacrificially. When you give you: ensure that every dollar you give goes directly to the mission field free missionaries from the burden of fundraising and allow them to stay in the field 100% of the time offer extensive cross cultural training and comprehensive support to our missionaries bring tangible help through medical supplies, clean water, and the life-transforming message of the gospel to thousands.
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Our mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.
The Salvation Army Angel Tree program helps provide Christmas gifts for hundreds of thousands of children around the country each year. Once a child or senior adult has been registered and accepted as an Angel their Christmas wish list is shared with donors in your community who purchase gifts of new clothing and toys. The gifts are distributed to the family to place under their family Christmas tree.
Every child deserves to grow up in a secure and loving home, yet hardships of all kinds get in the way of that happening. This can leave many children feeling hopeless and all alone as they are forced to navigate through the world of foster care and adoption.
At Called to Care, it’s our mission to educate and equip our community partners and volunteers to meet the needs of these vulnerable children. To date, we’ve helped thousands of children, and our work continues — not just for our community, but for the children growing up in it.
With your help, we can positively impact children’s lives by offering love, support, and the family they need. Ultimately, this opens the door for us to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ through the gospel.
If you feel called to care and are looking to serve vulnerable children through meeting tangible needs, mentoring, fostering, or adoption, we have a place where you can get involved.
