I’m New

We are glad you are here and are looking forward to seeing you in person. You can find us at 3000 Walkerville Road Blackshear Ga. 31516. We get together on Sundays at 9am, 10am and 6pm. At 9am we gather in small groups (Sunday School) and at 10 we have a large group time of worship.

We are a group of people that want to worship the Lord Jesus Christ. Some of us wear suits and some shorts. We are a diverse group of people to be out in the country. Some of us live in town and some out in the country. You will fit right in with us.

We have childcare during our Sunday School and Worship service. We have nursery (up to age 2), and children’s church up to 2nd grade. All children are welcome in our services the child care is just an option. We do not offer child care during our 6pm service.

We have our worship team to lead the service and then an expositional message from the Pastor. We will have a mixture of hymns and praise & worship music.

For Your Kids and Youth

We do have child care at both times and during the 10 service we have young children’s time for those that are 3yrs to 2nd grade in another room. We also provide nursery up to age 2 during these times. All children are welcome in our services the child care is just an option.

About Us

We are a Body of Believers that have a heart to make disciples. We desire to see individuals come to faith in Jesus Christ and to see them grow in their relationship with Him. We affirm that the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 aligns with our beliefs. Trusting Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin and turning from sin is the only way of salvation.

God established Walkerville Baptist in 1903. We have been meeting on this site since that time and have had to remodel and build multiple times. As the Lord continues to add to our group we are ready to expand more as the need arises. We are very flexible to meet the spiritual needs of our people. We are a very fluid group and willing to change as needs arise.
